We adopted our beautiful boy from Rescue a Golden 6 1/2 years ago. When he came to us his name was Dexter, we renamed him Baxter. He was the sweetest most gentle soul in the world and we loved him dearly. Sadly, yesterday we had to walk Baxter over the Rainbow Bridge to be with my husband who passed away in February this year. Baxter had hemangiosarcoma which had metastasized into his abdomen, lungs and kidney. The two most precious beings in my life are together in heaven. My heart aches for both of them – I have the most wonderful memories to keep with me for ever. Thank you Rescue a Golden for bring Baxter into our family!
