“Lucy, Lucy, Lucy” A redhead for any man! She had an enthusiasm for life and never met a stranger.

She had her bedside wake-up bark in the morning. Her reckless charge to anywhere with the mention of a squirrel or lizard at the cabin. When you approached her as she sat she would extend her raised paw for you to hold as any princess might. But you wouldn’t want to take her spot on the couch unless you could withstand the ultimate stare down from the dog sitting right in front of you. Whether it was a mission to “get the mail Lucy” or “a truck ride” she was always first out the door, and at the end of day, you wouldn’t want to take off her “jewelry” ( i.e. collar) without a protest.

What a great dog and companion!
