Marcus was beloved the second he walked through our front door. My husband called me with Marcus that evening, ‘The Goldens’. Marcus lit up our lives daily. Every morning he did his Marcus dance walking past us with his stuffed animal in his mouth, curving his body around in circle eights as if to say, ‘try taking my toy.’ He reminded us daily to cherish every day. He was quiet the first 3 years but after that he would let you know when he wanted to be fed with a robust bark. But other than that, he wasn’t a barker. Rather a lover. Everyone in the neighborhood knew Marcus. My neighbors would stop their cars, ‘where’s Marcus?- I haven’t seen you on a walk lately with Marcus, is he OK’? Marcus brought a smile to everyone’s face. He was unassuming, happy, loving, gentle & kind. I cannot fathom how our Marcus ended up in a rescue because he was so well behaved and trained! He was very lucky Rescue A Golden of AZ found him in South Korea. Conversely, we were lucky and blest to have him as well. God speed your trip over the rainbow to doggy heaven M! We will always remember you with laughter and will always love and cherish you as our beloved Pet and beautiful Block-Head Golden.
