MiMi joined our family in January 2021. She was one of a group of Golden Retrievers who were rescued from a meat market in China. MiMi was the most gentle, sweetest dog you can imagine. She was always by my side; in fact, I called her my little barnacle. She loved chasing squeaky tennis balls, playing with her little squirrels, riding in the car, and watching “All Creatures Great and Small” (she had a special interest in the horses). But mostly, she loved being with her family, snuggling on the couch. Tragically, she was diagnosed with metastatic cancer way too young, and we had to say goodbye. We miss her every day.
