Devin came to us in 2014 through Rescue a Golden of Arizona. Weighing just a little over 40 pounds, Devin was listed as three years old. The week after we got him, he had a follow up veterinary appointment where he was diagnosed with a 6+ heart murmur. Within two months he had a fairly complex surgery with a cardiologist set up by RAG. The cardiologist said the procedure was successful and felt that Devi would live to ten years or so. Devi lasted well beyond ten years making it to nearly 14. He went on lengthy walks everyday with us until his passing on December 4. Devi was a blessing, and he taught us a great deal about perseverance, patience, and deep love.
