Meet Milo!
Milo is a handsome 4-year-old neutered Golden Retriever looking for a fresh start.
Due to a recent divorce, his owner has more dogs than can be managed, and Milo has been living outdoors. Unfortunately, the swamp cooler in his doghouse has stopped working, making his situation especially urgent in the Arizona heat.
Milo gets along well with other dogs and cats, rides nicely in the car, and knows some basic commands. While he isn't fully house-trained, he does know how to use a dog door, so he has a good foundation to build on.
Milo will need a complete veterinary evaluation and routine care once he comes into rescue. With a little patience, training, and lots of love, he has the potential to become a wonderful companion.

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
