Meet Toby! This handsome small neutered Golden may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s a friendly, happy guy. He’s great with kids and has lived with five children, ages 2–17, as well as two young female Goldens.
Toby loves playing ball but isn’t a fan of the pool. He’s generally quiet, only alert barking when the other dogs do. He can be a little skittish and has some separation anxiety, but does much better when he isn’t kenneled and has access to the home and a doggy door.
If you’re looking for a sweet Golden who may need a little time to feel comfortable but becomes a friendly companion once he does, Toby could be your guy!
