Ruby is a beautiful, tenderâhearted girl whoâs looking for a family willing to help her continue growing into her best self. Sheâs gentle, sensitive, and will bond to the people and dogs she trusts. Sheâs already been working with a trainer, and we will continue paying for her training to support her progress. Ruby thrives when she has a confident, easygoing dog by her side â a friendly âguide dogâ who helps her feel safe and shows her that the world is nothing to worry about. With the right companion, she hopefully will become braver, more playful, and more willing to explore. Sheâs a meaningful little project, and every step forward feels like a win. Ruby also needs surgery for a torn cruciate ligament (similar to an ACL tear in humans). RAGofAZ will cover the full cost of her surgery, and she has every chance of a strong recovery with a patient, supportive family. Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
