If you're looking for a Golden Retriever who has outgrown the puppy antics but still has plenty of life left to enjoy, Koa may be your perfect match! This handsome 9-year-old, neutered male is healthy, up to date on all of his veterinary care, microchipped, and surprisingly active for a senior.
Koa loves being part of the action and would thrive with a family that has children, a securely fenced yard, and time for play, companionship, and daily walks. While he enjoys getting out and about, shorter walks are just right for him.
Koa has mild arthritis that is well controlled with Rimadyl, allowing him to continue enjoying an active, happy life. He has so much love, loyalty, and joy to share with the family lucky enough to welcome him home.
Koa's owner has made the heartbreaking decision to rehome him for personal reasons. He wants Koa to have the active, loving family life he can no longer provide. It's a selfless decision made out of love—and now Koa is ready to start his next chapter with a family who will cherish him for years to come.

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
