Meet Cleo!
Cleo is a handsome 5-year-old Golden Retriever weighing about 60 pounds. He is neutered, well-mannered, and has completed two weeks of professional training. Cleo knows his basic commands, walks beautifully on a leash, and is trained to stay at your left side during walks.
He is crate trained, house trained, and accustomed to being crated when left alone for up to eight hours during the workday. Cleo is an indoor dog who enjoys spending time with his family and rides well in the car.
Cleo gets along great with children and other dogs and would fit nicely into many family situations. He is reportedly afraid of cats, so a cat-free home would likely be best.
His current family lives in an apartment with four children and another baby on the way and feels they no longer have enough room to provide him the life he deserves.
Medical Note: Cleo has a lump on the front of his tongue that was first discovered about three years ago. A biopsy was recommended but was declined due to cost. According to his family, the lump has grown slightly over time. He is otherwise reported to be healthy. Cleo is neutered and will need updated vaccinations. His family believes he is microchipped.
Cleo is looking for a family that will appreciate his training, good manners, and sweet Golden personality while providing the love and attention he deserves. 🐾

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
