Meet Georgie!
Meet Georgie, a handsome 1½-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever weighing approximately 80–85 pounds. This big, lovable boy is full of energy, affection, and enthusiasm for life. Georgie absolutely loves people and enjoys being around both adults and school-age children. He’s also good with other dogs and would likely enjoy an active home where he can play and be part of the fun.
Georgie is still very much a young dog and can get excited — he does jump up at times and doesn’t always realize how big he is! He knows “sit” and would benefit from continued training and consistency to help him become the best companion he can be.
Because of his size and playful chase instincts, Georgie is not a good fit for homes with cats or small animals. He has never been around very young children, so a home with older kids would be best.
Georgie is up to date on vaccinations but is not yet neutered or microchipped. If you’re looking for a friendly, active, people-loving Golden Retriever with lots of personality and potential, Georgie may be the perfect match for you!

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
