Meet Jessie! Jessie is a 2-year-old female who is very friendly, affectionate, and full of enthusiasm. She’s a bright, excitable girl who will happily grab her leash when she knows it’s time for a walk. Jessie loves being active, enjoys the pool, and is great with kids. She would thrive in a high-energy home where she can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. Jessie currently lives with a mellow neutered cat who is her best friend, so she is comfortable with cats. She is not spayed. Her current owner has had major health challenges and Jessie’s shedding makes it hard for her to stay in the home. This is a very difficult decision made out of love and concern for Jessie’s needs. Jessie would make a wonderful companion for an active family or individuals who enjoy walking, playing, and spending time outdoors. She has a joyful personality and a big heart to share.

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
