Oliver is a lovable 3-year-old golden with a big heart—and a big frame (he could use a little help with portion control!). He’s happiest when surrounded by kids, people, other dogs, and especially when he’s splashing around in the pool. In fact, Oliver is Paws to Peers certified, and he absolutely thrives with children, making him a wonderful family companion. Oliver does have a touch of hip dysplasia, so swimming is the perfect low-impact exercise to keep him moving comfortably. His current owner calls him a “total mush” and even nicknamed him “Melted Caramel” for his sweet, mellow personality.

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
