Daisy is a real joy, the personification of sweetness! At first, she was very shy and probably better behaved than we might have wanted. Let me explain.
We actually had to teach her to get up on the furniture, and she still shows a bit of trepidation. For example, when I call her up on the bed, she isn’t sure she should stay there except when her “brother” (our 9-year-old white German Shepherd Dante) is up there. Then she doesn’t want to miss out on her share (and his share as well) of attention. When she butts in, he usually gets up and leaves, looking at us as if to ask, “When is she leaving?”
She loves toys and usually strews them throughout the house. Dante is happy to let Daisy have all of the toys as long as she leaves his toy bone alone. There has never been an issue; apparently some silent message has passed between them.
I could go on and on, but you only asked for an update not a book. I could have simply said my daughter and I love having Daisy share our lives, but once I am asked about dogs, I don’t know when to stop. I have attached a picture of Daisy that my daughter took a few days ago. I hope you like it.
