Delilah
Delilah, Lolita and I are all so happy together! Lolita is 11 (same age as Delilah), and I just retired, and we three old ladies keep each other going! Our day begins at 5:30 a.m. (!!!) with Lolita barking at me to get up and Delilah sharing her loudest, squeakiest stuffy next to my head. We get up, have brekkies and coffee (for me) and then go on walkies. Any deviation to the routine is cause for alarm!!
Delilah has not yet met a visitor or fellow dog walker she does not immediately love, and the feeling is mutual 100% of the time. I rescued Lolita from a young man who couldn't keep her anymore, and she had obviously not had a good life before me. She has bad anxiety and is very skittish around people. Since Delilah has joined us, Lolita is a puppy again! She is even playing with toys now and having Zoomies with Delilah!
I didn't just rescue Delilah, she rescued Lolita and me ❤️ .
