Cooper now Craig
We've had Craig for just over three months now, and what a journey it's been. At a little under one year old when he came to us, we were his third home in just one month, so those first few weeks were a tough transition for everyone. There was a lot of patience, reassurance, and learning each other's rhythms.
Today, Craig is the sweetest, most chill boy. He's really settled into his forever home and his personality is beginning to shine. He's learning new tricks- he goes right to "his place" and lays down when he hears the garage door or doorbell, and he politely waits for a kiss on the head before eating his food. He loves playing tug, catching bites of apple mid-air, and (with permission!) absolutely destroying cardboard boxes. He keeps us entertained.
He's a champion cuddler first thing in the morning when he snuggles in bed with his dad. He gets along beautifully with all dogs and people, and his gentle, happy energy makes everyone fall in love with him.
We are so grateful to have him and can't wait to take him to the lake this summer for his next big adventure, swimming and paddle boarding.
