Kaiah now Eliza
Eliza, who we also call Lizzie, or Eliza Jean when we need her to really listen, has been an amazing addition to our family. She is so sweet, cuddly and ACTIVE and quite routine oriented!!! She gets 2 walks per day and can tell time, so she knows when it is time (or past time) for her walks and just stares at us until we make the move. She loves her toys and likes to go in her toy bin and pick out which one she will tear the stuffing out of that day. Literally! Her favorite time is when we are all home, she really goes nuts! She loves swimming in the pool, hiking, playing ball and car rides going to get pup cups! We will be doing our first camping trip with her next month. She has a brother cat and they get along amazingly. She gets all the nose boops and can't get enough of the belly rubs. We love her so much and are so grateful to Rescue a Golden for sending her our way!
******now....we did a DNA test and she is only 6% Golden so we completely understand if you do not want to post this update LOL, truly we get it. We love her so much regardless but we did connect the dots as to the insane shedding that was happening. She is mostly Husky! ha ha. She is a mix of breeds but definitely got the best of all of them, except the shedding!! I have attached pictures of Lizzie and her DNA results just because we found it interesting and wanted to share. We are so very grateful and couldn't love her more. we just have to take her for grooming every 3 weeks for our sanity ♥️
