Hunter joined our family on Christmas Eve 2024 after his previous owner passed away on Thanksgiving. Not only did Hunter lose his owner; he was diagnosed with testicular cancer during the RAGofAZ vetting process and was successfully treated surgically.

Hunter and his story will be featured in the November 2026 RAGofAZ calendar as a winner in the cutest golden contest.

At 92 pounds, Hunter gallops through the house with a thunderous sound. He loves playing with toys and is eager to please and will do almost anything for a treat. He is such a good boy. He instantly learned the doggie door, does not chew or get into anything that is not his. He shares the backyard with our sassy 13 year old Jack-Russell Terrier, Freckles and he loves to hang out under the umbrella enjoying a Frosty Paw treat on a hot day.
