Rescue a Golden of Arizona

Adopted March 2 2024

Maggie

Please help RAGofAZ rescue more dogs like us!

Maggie is doing just fine and has settled into our home quite nicely.  She has been through some meds and some doctor visits but is now doing just fine and is pill free.  She is still scheduled for her monthly Librela Injection, but that is it.
Maggie is a wonderfully sweet dog who is content in almost any situation whether we are all alone in the house or if the family is over or going down to the brewery. (I own a brewery)  She gets along with all dogs in the neighborhood but is much more interested in humans and food.  Yes, Maggie is a chow hound and if we ever need to motivate her to do something, that does the trick every time.
Maggie spends most of her days with me and our other dog Chip, in my home office where she sleeps at the door, guarding against any possible escape on my part.  Our two cats have now accepted her and will even engage Maggie for a meet/greet or an attempt at play.  Maggie was infatuated with our cats at first, but of course, now that they are used to her she doesn’t pay them much attention.
Most anyone that sees Maggie, instantly likes her but then what’s not to like in a 80 lb, gray faced, sweet eyes, Golden Retriever.
