Meet Rusty, a handsome 6-year-old neutered male looking for a new forever home through no fault of his own. His owner recently downsized to a home that does not allow large dogs, and now Rusty is hoping to find a family to love him as much as they do.
Rusty is a friendly, easygoing boy with a moderate energy level. He enjoys spending time with his people, rides nicely in the car, and gets along well with both dogs and cats. He also does well with children, making him a wonderful companion for many different types of families.
He is healthy overall, with only occasional minor ear infections. Rusty is doggy-door trained, though he has not been crate trained.

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
