Sex: Female
Color: Golden fur
Weight: 65 lbs
Meet GG, a 1-year-old, 65-pound spayed girl recently rescued from a breeder auction through a rescue-to-rescue transfer with the Cavalier Rescue Foundation. She’s fully vetted and just beginning to experience life as a beloved companion. GG is extremely shy and skittish due to past abuse, but she’s sweet, gentle, and eager to learn. She’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and thrives when she’s around canine friends—especially at the dog park or following them on potty breaks. She recently learned to walk on a leash and is making progress every day. Loud noises scare her, and she’ll hide, but she has no issues sharing food or toys. GG takes anti-anxiety medication for vet or grooming visits and would do best in a calm, patient home with other dogs to help guide her.

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
