Meet Max, a six month old dark gold intact male puppy who needs a new home. His current family loves him dearly, but due to a sudden asthma diagnosis in their young daughter, they’ve made the difficult decision to find Max a new forever home.

This affectionate boy loves people and children and has a friendly, playful nature. He’s already crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, and knows a few basic commands like sit, stay, and down. Max also gets along well with other dogs and is always up for a swim.

Like any young pup, Max still has a few things to learn—he’s a bit of a leash-puller—but with consistent training and love, he’ll grow into an amazing companion.

Max will go to his new home with his crate, food, and favorite toys, making the transition a little easier for everyone.

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
