Rescue a Golden of Arizona

Pending Adoption

Meet

Luna

Luna is a 14 year old female who is looking for a home to live out her senior years. Her previous owner regrettably gave her up due to her own health issues and her husband’s work commitments keeping him away from home.

Luna enjoys playing with her pit bull and boxer pals, although she does have preferences when it comes to other dogs. She enjoys going on walks, and greets people and other dogs happily. However, she may growl and choose to walk away from those she doesn’t feel comfortable with. She has no history of confrontations, and her behavior has never posed a risk to others.

She is good with children aged 3-12. She’s crate trained and housetrained. She doesn’t engage in destructive behaviors like chewing or digging and doesn’t display any resource guarding tendencies. However, her eagerness to explore can sometimes lead her to dart out the front door, so a secure environment is essential for her safety.

Luna takes hip and joint vitamins to manage her stiffness. She is microchipped and spayed, but needs an immunization update.

In summary, Luna is a lovable senior dog who’s looking for a forever home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves.
