Lily
Our lovely Lily was quite anxious when she arrived and every little thing (including her own tail's shadow) frightened her. It is a very different story now. We started her on walks - after numerous attempts at harnesses to stop her from dragging us down the street we tried the gentle leader as it was great with our previous golden. She now walks loose leash and acts like she owns the neighborhood. She loves all the new smells each day and everyone is her new best friend - she makes people smile, as our Chuy also did. She (we) attended life skills classes at Sol Dog for socialization and walking on leash. She already knew basic commands but learned so much more. She sits when someone approaches her which makes it easy to let people have a "golden fix" when we walk. She is definitely a velcro pup - a real cuddler. She and our cat established a good relationship from day one. We feel so fortunate to have her in our life - she is so sweet - and silly.
