Meet Skie, a beautiful 6-month-old spayed female who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Skie is described as healthy, sweet, and full of life. She’s an active, playful pup who loves being around people and is especially friendly once she feels comfortable. She has been around school-aged children and has done well with them. Skie also knows several commands, showing she’s a smart girl with a great foundation to build on. She does well in the home and is already using a doggy door like a pro. While she isn’t crate trained yet, she settles nicely in the house. Skie gets along with other dogs, though she can be a bit skittish at first—she just needs a little time and continued socialization to build her confidence. Like many young dogs, Skie is still working on her leash manners and can pull, so she’ll benefit from some continued training and consistency. With her intelligence and eagerness, she’s sure to pick it up quickly. Skie would thrive in a loving home that can give her the guidance, patience, and playtime every young pup needs.
