Meet Stella, an adorable 10-week-old puppy who is looking for a loving home ready to take on all the joys (and a little bit of the chaos!) that come with raising a young pup. Her current owner is feeling a bit overwhelmed with the puppy stage and wants Stella to have the time, structure, and guidance she deserves. Stella is a healthy, playful, and friendly little girl with a curious and smart personality. She enjoys being around people and does well with children, and she’s also good with other dogs. Her experience with cats is unknown. As expected for her age, Stella is still learning the ropes. She’s making good progress with housetraining and is working on crate training, though she’s not quite a fan of the crate just yet. She’s also very inquisitive—which means she sometimes tries to eat things she shouldn’t (like rocks), so she’ll need close supervision and continued guidance. Car rides can make Stella a bit nervous, and she has gotten sick in the car, so she may need some patience and gradual exposure to feel more comfortable during travel.

Upon intake, dogs are given a complete exam by a licensed veterinarian, updated on vaccinations (if necessary), spayed or neutered (if not already done), tested for heartworm and fecal parasites, and microchipped.
