Charlie came into our home on January 1 sporting a cone due to his recent neuter surgery!! He captured our hearts from that moment on.
Charlie is going to be 11 in March, but his goofy puppy face and occasional back yard zoomies belie his age. In fact, he has very little gray hair on his face!! He adapted to our home and our retired routine with ease. His house, leash and car manners are practically perfect! He is a counter surfer, but we can outwit him, LOL! I haven’t even heard a bark out of him, but surrender notes indicated he does bark!!
Charlie has won the hearts of our neighbors we greet on daily walks! He is calm around other like-minded dogs and happily accepts the cookies we all carry to treat our furry friends! Charlie was a little thin at intake (68 lbs) but he his now about 75 lbs of lean muscle over a super shiny copper coat!
Charlie did well with snake avoidance training at Rattlesnake Ready and he submits to grooming with Brytnie. He is a beloved part of our family and community!
We are so fortunate to have been matched with this dear boy!
