Big Boy

Age: 12 years old
Sex: Male
Color: Golden fur
Weight: 106 lbs
Meet Big Boy — a 12-year-old, 106-pound neutered sweetheart who’s truly a big ball of love. His original owner passed away, and his current one is ill and can no longer care for him. Despite having had a stroke last year, Big Boy bounced back and still enjoys life. He has high cholesterol and low thyroid, and a long, watery mass on his rib that makes him short of breath when lying on it. But none of that stops him from loving car rides — he even has his own ramp. He’s housetrained (no doggy door) and adores other dogs, though he will chase cats in the yard. He doesn’t have experience with kids, but he thrives with someone who will hang out on the floor with him. On walks, his owner makes him sit when other dogs pass. He’s a champion counter surfer and drinks plenty of water. Big Boy is looking for a soft place to land and someone to love him just as he is. 25 063 Big Boy2
