Frida now Kaiah
Kaiah is doing great. We named her Kaiah meaning "new beginning". We really wanted her to have a new life after her previous experience.
Her leg is 100%. We walk often, and she absolutely loves every minute of it. Your prayers were answered! She is deeply attached to my wife, which I believe is a reflection of the great care that her rescuer gave her. Her DNA test came back that she is poodle, Australian CattleDog, Labrador retriever, super mutt, and pekinese. I don't get the poodle, but the cattle dog makes sense.
This week we tried to adopt another golden retriever from RAG, a wonderful dog. I think because of Kaiah's unfortunate history she could not adapt to having another dog in the house, so we are not going to adopt another dog. We will be a one dog family with Kaiah.
We really love her and are so blessed to have her. She is a gift to us and we are so grateful for you and everyone else that was involved in bringing Kaiah to us.
