Sunny is settling in to her new life with her new family. Sunny is one of the puppy mill mamas who came into the rescue earlier this year pregnant. Since returning home after the birth of her pups – October 6 will be 3 months – Sunny is quickly learning about food and chicken and burgers and treats!   Her tail wags now when she sees her family.  She has become part of our existing pack and all the dogs get along amazingly!  She recently started to sleep on the dog bed! She loves to cuddle and kiss.  Everyday she feels a little safer and explores a little more in the house.  She is the best girl and my family and I ask ourselves all the time how we got so lucky as to get her.  She was born four years ago – she was always suppose to be here – it just took her a little while to get here.  We are looking forward to her future and seeing her continue her on a healing journey and be a part of it.
