In March of 2023 we lost are beloved dog named Chocolate. Chocolate was a rescue pitbull lab mix. We had her for 14 years until we lost her suddenly and unexpectedly due to natural causes. We were totally devastated without her. After a year had passed we decided to adopt again another rescue through Rescue a Golden of Arizona. Hunny aka Ariel came to us this past February through Rescue A Golden AZ. Hunny was one of 12 female puppy mill dogs. A little about Hunny, they estimated her age around 22 months old. she was so timid and scared.Hunny didn’t even know what grass was and wouldn’t leave the patio for the first week, and wouldn’t venture out much past the living room for the first month. She was pretty thin too. Fast forward not even quite 3 months later, she is already house trained and loves loves loves running around her backyard in the grassy areas. Hunny loves to learn and gets so excited to try to learn knew things! She knows how to sit, shake paws, lie down, give a hug, and twirl (dance) on command. She also knows lots of words such as go get your toy, come here and time to go outside. She is currently working on the leash outside and is doing amazing, gets a little timid still but getting better and better with each outing. We love her so much and my house doesn’t feel so empty anymore . She is such a happy happy girl her personality is blossoming and she has totally come out of her shell. Hunny has so much love to give and a huge heart! Hard to believe just how far she has come in such a short amount of time. We love her so much!❤️
