We still have Charley and he’s become a loving dog, especially compared to what he was like when we got him. He had never been in a house, unbelievably stinky, and very dehydrated.   We went through quite a time getting him trained!  I’m sure you’ve heard stories!  He still is a little jumpy about certain noises and we never know when that will be, but he’s very gentle, happy, and not one mean bone in his body. He’s been a great companion for my husband who has Lewy body/Parkinsons.  I’ve attached a couple pictures, one showing him running and loving the rain.
