Phoebe now Mia
Mia is doing great now. She had a rough start. Mia had only known one home her entire life, so leaving it was scary for her. We had a hard time getting her to eat anything that first month. When she felt uncomfortable she would go hide in her "Safe" place. Her former home was more rural, so she was not used to truck or traffic sounds or just loud noises or quick movements. She arrived at our home 2 weeks after losing Reagan, then a week later Quincy went to the bridge. Three weeks later, Phoebe joined us from a puppy mill in Ohio. So many changes in a short time. Turns out she loves balls and playing fetch, going for walks, loves all dogs and does home visits with Mom. Not a big fan of car rides. She is still a little scared with loud sounds or quick movements, but much more relaxed, eating great and enjoying life and all the attention from our grandkids.
