Meet Mira, a vibrant 19-month-old Golden female who is eagerly looking for her forever home. Mira is fully up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and has been regularly given heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick medication. Her previous owner, due to health issues, can no longer provide the level of activity and attention Mira needs, though she has never lacked for medical care, including comprehensive pet insurance.

Mira has a playful personality and has lived harmoniously with a Pitbull/Boxer mix and four cats, though she does enjoy chasing the cats for fun. She absolutely loves swimming and won’t leave the pool until every toy is removed. Active by nature, Mira regularly attends Dogtopia to release her boundless energy and walks well on a two-point harness. She’s also a great car companion, making her perfect for families who enjoy travel.

Due to her high energy level, Mira hasn’t had much exposure to children and would do best in a home with kids over 12. She does have allergies, which are well managed with Zyrtec, Apoquel, and Cytopoint injections, and she thrives on Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach food.

Mira needs an active family who can provide her with plenty of exercise and continue her training. Ideally, she would be placed in a home with another dog, as she experiences some separation anxiety but is much more at ease with a canine companion.
