Rescue a Golden of Arizona

Pending Adoption

Meet

Nala

Nala is an 18-month-old spayed female who was adopted from the Humane Society after having a litter of puppies. Over the past two months, Nala has proven to be very loving and attention-starved, but she struggles with separation anxiety, leading to destructive behavior when left alone. She does not know any commands and is not fully housebroken, so she would benefit from consistent training. Despite these challenges, Nala is excellent with children of all ages, has spent time in daycare, and gets along well with cats and other dogs. Nala is good in the car and walks well on a leash. She is very food-oriented and may snap when excited about treats, although she does not guard her food. She is up to date on vaccinations given at the time of her spay surgery at the Humane Society.
