Rescue a Golden of Arizona

Pending Adoption

Meet

Pablo

Age: 2 years old
Sex: Male
Color: Blond fur
Weight: Approx 35 lbs
Pablo is a sweet and gentle two-year-old dog who was rescued from the streets of Nogales, Mexico by a kind-hearted person. He is overall healthy and friendly, though a bit timid as he adjusts to new surroundings. Pablo has been around other dogs and seemed to do well, though his behavior with cats and children is unknown. Pablo is still working on housetraining, as he does some marking indoors. He enjoys car rides—sleeping peacefully on the journey from Mexico to Phoenix—and even tolerated a bath with ease. While he does okay on a leash, he may benefit from some training to build confidence. He has a lower energy level but may become more playful once he settles into a loving home.
