Meet

Jax

Meet Jax, a playful, almost 1-year-old male red dog! This neutered pup is housebroken (though not trained to use a doggie door) and thrives around people, especially kids aged 10 and up, showing a friendly and loving nature. While he hasn’t been around babies or very young children, he has shown a gentle side around older kids and adults. He loves his time at doggie daycare, where he plays well with the other dogs. He has not been around cats.

When it comes to leash manners, he does best with a training collar which helps keep him calm and focused. Without it, he can revert to his playful puppy behavior. This boy loves to swim and would make a wonderful companion for anyone who enjoys water activities. He’s also polite around the house—he’s not a jumper, doesn’t dart out the door, and only barks to alert you if something unusual is happening.
