Ace is doing well! He came to us in the middle of May. At the time, the vet’s best guess was that he was about 16 weeks old. He was found as a stray, and his finders turned him over to RAG. Now, at almost 7 months old, he loves to play with his older brother Uno, and acts like he has never been fed a day in his life, which I hear is a typical Golden trait. He gets into mischief outside and is constantly being redirected from eating all sorts of things outside (I’ll leave it to your imagination; he isn’t picky ?), but inside he leaves everything alone aside from his toys, which the kids appreciate. He is mostly potty-trained downstairs and rings a bell to go out, but the carpet upstairs is still a work-in-progress. He’s crate trained when we are out and at night (if you say “night-night” he will run into it and settle in, and lately he has been putting himself to bed). Ace loves people (especially our kids), and his favorite hobbies include wrestling with Uno, chewing on nylabones, and being doted upon. We start beginner training classes today and with his temperament, we are confident he will pick things up quickly and are excited to see him grow in that department!
