All I want for Christmas…is a “forever home”…

Ranger04Ranger03Hi! I am Ranger and I am looking for a forever home.

I was returned to rescue in September when my dad moved out of the country and have been in foster care for about three months. I know that many of you see I am approximately eight years old or I need a no pet home and decide I am not the “one" but I know the perfect forever family is out there waiting "just for me."

Maybe it's your family? Just keep reading and I hope you’ll think I am the right dog for you!

Ranger06aRanger05My personality is ALL golden. I am very smart and obedient. I am house trained and sleep through the night. I need to be in a no pet home and as you know many families have only one “four legged” companion…I think they call it having an only child smiley.

I love getting attention and pets from anyone who comes to visit.

Everyone who meets me says I am a delight to have around. My needs are simple. All you have

to do is pet me, play ball with me, love me (ummm) play ball with me. As you can tell, playing ball is my favorite pastime ...I LOVE to play with tennis balls. Did I mention; if you play ball with me, I’ll be very happy.

Oh, what the heck. I would be happy playing in the house or in your back yard as well. I am very easy-going and don’t need tons of exercise or training like a younger dog does.

I have so much love to give and you will be so very glad to have me in your home, I promise.

I should also tell you that my foster family has been great….but I really want a “forever” home to call my own. Believe me... the years of love, companionship and loyalty I will give you are definitely worth it.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Love, Ranger paw heart1

PS - Here is what my foster dad says about a day in the life with me:

Ranger01Breakfast around 6:30 - 7:00AM … outside to potty …then playtime with stuffed toys or a little game of tug of war.
In the afternoon - a brushing and play ball or tug of war.
Dinner is at 5:30 PM. Then potty time again. Ranger will let you know when he needs to go out at other times.
At night, when it is dark, I think he’s afraid of the dark because I have to be by his side for him to relieve himself. Cute!
Even when I turn on the porch lights, he hesitates to go into the dark.
The rest of the day Ranger follows me everywhere... in the house or outside. He loves to go for rides and just curls up on the seat. He does not stick his head out the window as most dogs do but will stick his nose out when we are at a stop light/sign…. but just his nose.
Ranger is a very sweet and loving dog and makes me chuckle all day long with his "personality.”
