-- Akron came to us from a rescue in Ohio. He is microchipped. His bloodwork showed he has Lyme disease. He is being treated with doxycycline for the next 28 days. A two week rest, and then retest will be done. He came to us as an unaltered male. The vet also suggested that he lose about 10 pounds. He was given his first shots and the last one will be due April 1. He will be neutered in about 45 days. He is very laid-back and loving. Akron is very healthy and does not have any major medical issues. He was poked and prodded, and just kept wagging his tail while he was at the vet.
