Would you like to join our Vet Care Team?
You will have an amazing opportunity to take x-rays, start an IV, remove stitches, and perform complex surgery!
Kidding.
We have actual veterinarian partners to handle that. We are seeking volunteers to serve as Vet Care Liaisons in the Glendale/Peoria area of the West Valley.
Here’s the real deal. We need Golden-loving volunteers to arrange and oversee medical care for our rescued dogs. As a Vet Care Liaison you will:
- Contact fosters/adopters/veterinary offices to set up vet appointments for intake exams and follow-up care if needed
- Maintain communication with adopters throughout the vet care process
- Attend vet appointments in person if possible to oversee and authorize treatment
- Enter vet care notes, invoices, and reports into our Trackabeast system
- Receive outstanding training and personalized mentoring including the opportunity to shadow other Vet Care Liaisons at vet visits
We are proud to claim that our team of experienced Vet Care Liaisons is the best in all of rescue-land, and we know you will be delighted to join their ranks. You will learn so much about canine wellness as well as injury, disease, and treatment. And you will play an unforgettable role as you witness a Golden Retriever slowly returning to health and vigor ... all because you cared enough to help make it happen.
So ... while I can’t promise that you will get to do PET scans, I can assure you that you will deliver PET hugs by the dozens.
Let’s talk about it. Please give me a call at 623-853-5831 or email me at rschillaci.rag@gmail.com.
