‍Every year at this time, Rescue a Golden of Arizona members elect officers and directors for half of the Board positions. Terms are staggered every other year to ensure stability and consistency in leadership and governance.
Â
This year, four positions are up for election. Those elected will serve a two-year term beginning November 8, 2025. The Nominating Committee would like to encourage members who are interested in board service to consider running for election.
Board meetings are held every other month on the second Saturday via Zoom so you will not have to travel to attend meetings. If elected, you will receive orientation, board materials, and coaching from your fellow board members to prepare you for your new role. However, most candidates already have some level of familiarity and involvement with our organization as a volunteer.
This year, the Board positions are:
Vice President
Treasurer
