Introducing our 2021 Calendar Cover Dog
Quincy came to our family in November 2017. We had just lost 2 of our Golden boys, Sherman, at 16, passed away in July 2017 and then Barkley passed unexpectedly in September 2017, at 11 years old. Our remaining Golden, Reagan, was lonely and needed a friend. When Quincy came into rescue just 7 weeks after having lost Barkley, we thought this was a perfect fit. Quincy was described as a playful dog who liked swimming.
Quincy was abandoned by his family who just packed up and left him behind. He was an older boy, around 9ish at the time, and fit right into our family. Within a short period of time he became the “King” of counter-surfing. He loves swimming, going for walks and riding in the car - although his favorite past-time is “eating”, anything meant to pass his lips, and he loves eating ice.
He loves his toys, especially his duck which he will carry around with him. Quincy is a lovable boy and (except for the counter-surfing part, of course) we are so glad he is part of our family.
