See “Membership” tab above.  \nAnnual Meeting & Golden Retriever Pool Party\nGilbert\, Arizona\nSaturday\, October 23\, 2021 | 11AM-2PM \n \nIt’s almost time for the the Rescue A Golden of Arizona Annual Meeting\, and we are thilled to be coming back together in person for it. The annual meeting gives members of Rescue a Golden of Arizona the chance to meet each other\, the newly elected board of directors\, and everyone’s favorite part – so many Goldens in one spot! \nA meeting agenda will be prepared and business will be conducted\, including annual reports from officers and directors. We will also include an open discussion period\, and will welcome your suggestions on how we can make RAG of AZ better for you. \nWe are counting on a lot of fun too! The Goldens can swim\, play ball or just run around being cute. As much as we love other doggy siblings\, this meeting (& Pool Party) is just for Golden Retrievers and current RAG members. \nThe meeting will be held in the backyard of one of our board members. Restrooms will be available indoors\, but the meeting will be on the patio\, and and lunch will be served outside.\n \nLocation: Gilbert\, AZ (Lindsay & Williamsfield) \nLunch from Caldwell County BBQ will be served \nBottled Water will be provided. \nTo ensure we have an accurate headcount for lunch\, please click here to RSVP by October 20th. Please indicate how many members will be with you\, and how many Golden Retrievers will be joining you. \nYour RSVP to the meeting also waives your right to hold Rescue A Golden of Arizona and the homeowners responsible for damages or injuries to you or your dog. DESCRIPTION:Contact Heather Marcom rescueagoldenaz@yahoo.com \nWe’re excited to announce that we’ve been selected as one of ten rescues to participate in next year’s Relay for Rescue fundraising event! Usually this event is local to Phoenix but it’s now a virtual event which means anyone\, anywhere can participate! \nAll registered participants (click link below) who sign up under Rescue a Golden of Arizona will be able to download an app that will give you hundreds of scavenger hunt tasks to complete on the date of the event\, January 30th. For each task successfully completed\, you will earn points for our team (RAGofAZ). The top three rescues with the most points at the end of the scavenger hunt will win a cash prize! We also receive a portion of every registration under our rescue. \nWith fundraising activity dramatically reduced this year due to covid\, were hoping all of our supporters will sign up and participate! You can do it from your home\, a park\, a neighbor’s house…wherever you’d like! You can do it as an individual or with a group! It’s fun\, it’s something new and it helps Goldens in need! \nOh\, and you get a fun t-shirt too!! \nPlease\, register today under Rescue A Golden and we will see you on our team on January 30th! \nShare with your friends and family—all are welcome!
