DESCRIPTION:Calling all Goldens & their devoted Families!\n\nRAG of AZ has again been invited to partner with local author Elizabeth Howell and Barnes & Noble at Desert Ridge Marketplace for a one-day fundraising event. \nDate: Sunday December 4\, 2022\nTime: 11AM-6PM Fundraising\n12-4PM Book signing\nLocation: Barnes & Noble\nDesert Ridge Marketplace\n21001 N Tatum Blvd\, Suite 42\nPhoenix\, AZ 85050 \nMany of you know of Elizabeth Howell and her husband Richard who rescued and adopted Chi Chi a Golden Retriever. Chi Chi was rescued from the South Korean meat market and due to the severity of her injuries\, became a quadruple amputee. Chi Chi went on to become a Certified Therapy dog and showed the world how to love again. If you don’t know of Chi Chi’s story you can read about her at her website. \nElizabeth has now written a book about Chi Chi’s life and will be doing a book signing at Barnes & Noble\, Desert Ridge from 12-4 on December 4. Along with the book signing Barnes & Noble is holding an all day book fair and the book fair will benefit RAG of AZ. \nRAG of AZ needs our volunteers and their amazing Goldens to join us\, talk to people about rescue and give every customer a voucher. Then when the customer makes their purchase\, they give the cashier the voucher and RAG of AZ will get a percentage of the sale. Even though the book signing is only till 3PM\, we can have volunteers stay until 6PM to pass out vouchers. \nWe are setting up the schedule in 1 hour shifts\, but you and your Golden can stay for 2 or 3 shifts if you have the time. We will need 3-4 goldens during each hour of the event. DESCRIPTION:We hope everyone is enjoying the start of the holiday season! We’re excited to announce gift wrapping events throughout December. It’s a great opportunity to support Rescue A Golden of Arizona\, meet other volunteers\, play with dogs and take care of your holiday gift wrapping. Donations from these events help provide life-saving care for Goldens waiting to be rescued and welcomed into their forever homes. \nJoin us at the Deer Valley PetSmart\, 2901 W.
