I am so grateful to have Lily in my life.

When she moved in, she was afraid of everything, including the TV and me. She probably never lived in a house before. She wanted to spend the entire day in her crate. The only way I could get her out of her crate was to crawl in and attach her leash.

In just a little over a month, Lily comes out of her crate on her own, comes to me when I call her (most of the time 😊), prefers to spend the day on her bed instead of her crate, and has adopted two toys that she must have on her bed. This morning was the first time she barked!

Lily has a long way to go to be comfortable with the world around her, but she has come a long way and is the sweetest dog. I’m so thankful to your organization and the wonderful volunteers who have been so supportive.
