Bailey, a.k.a. Butters (and a whole slew of other nicknames) had brightened our lives from the moment his furry paws stepped into them! We were fortunate enough to welcome him to his forever home on May 8, 2022, after Rescue a Golden AZ brought him in from Mexico.

His first order of business was meeting his sister, Zona, our Australian Shepherd. She is full of energy and was eager for a playmate. They hit it off instantly and enjoy each other’s company. Z has taught B all the luxuries of our home — from cuddling up on the bed or couch, using the doggy door, and how to play fetch.

Despite suffering a leg injury in his precious life, Butters loves to run and play in the backyard, go on long walks, go camping with us, go on car rides, play with his toys, and more. He is goofy and mellow with the sweetest disposition. And when he snores as loud as a grown man, we know he’s had a fulfilling day. We are grateful to RAG AZ every day for trusting us to adopt him!
